Wolven have a habit of adopting orphaned wolflings. Sometimes even ending up in disputes between the hopeful adopters. There is a saying that no wolfling is truly orphaned. Before the war there were cases of wolven adopting children of other species. The majority of wolven adore children, seeing them as gifts from mother Kee.
