With snow and water it is possible to drug them.
Water is especially susceptible to any toxins that are introduced into their blood. It makes it extremely hard for them to concentrate and to cast spells. Mostly only the oldest and most powerful can overcome it. Wolven have also learned if they 'taint' their blood, water Foxcieans lose the ability to manipulate it.
Snow Foxcieans, while not as susceptible as water, still feel the effects of certain drugs. While they can slow the progress of any drug in the system they cannot stop their own blood flow, unless they completely freeze themselves which leaves them vulnerable to attack. They are also extremely sensitive to heat. So Wolven tend to use a combination of heat and drugs to keep them suppressed.
Fire, particularly those of black ash, are much more aggressive than any other of the Foxcieans. The only drug to have shown any promise of working is Stillfire, but that ultimately leads to the death of the individual. All other drugs burn up in their system. There is a rumor that Jackals have something that does work, but no Wolven has ever witnessed it. :D

Id've Replied MUCH sooner but my WI-FI is misbehaving, unfortunately a hammer is not going to fix something i can't see.
YAY! more Lore. i always love hearing more. history was one of my fave subjects.....apart from metalwork, but i won't get into THAT story again.

Besides wind foxcieans, is there a way to inhibit the powers of the others?
