*Edit* Opps I just realised I had this to be uploaded in the afternoon! XD
Does anyone even remember poor Jeren from all that time ago? He's still out to get Lance back for spilling green dye on him.
I'm now back on track and have quite a few buffer pages. Thanks for everyone support by voting!
I am also planning out a special short story for 200 pages. Threan's side story has also updated so make sure you check it out! :D

He's never had contact with a Foxciean before. None of the wolven in the base have ever been in a real conflict before as the oldest wolven would have been 16 years old when their parents left. As for the fire, it was a molten metal smell, which he probably has never really come across given that he's trained all his life to become an alpha of a pack. :D

Haha, still green! Must be powerful stuff! Also, if Threan has lost a bet to Jeren, does that mean he owes Jeren a favour if i understand wolven currency correctly?

Oh yeah, it's pretty permanent which is why Lance didn't want it to go to waste.
You're right bet's are considered a form of currency.
I'll try and explain in more detail. Warning it's long winded!
There are technically four different currency the wolven use.
Bets, favors, bartering and their normal job.
Their job is what they are entitled to. This depends on how important wolven consider their jobs to be to their society at the time. In war time fighters are more highly prized than artisans, entitling them to more.
All other currencies are supplement to their actual jobs and are interchangeable. So if you bet someone and win you can demand they owe you a favor on a scale of 1 -10. This system is designed for situations where you have no need for anything from that person at the time, but are saving it for the future. Level 1 favors are (you can help me move house) where level 10 would be (I need to dispose of a body)
Threan and Jeren have made a bet on Lance. In the end it's Threan who won. Jeren now owes Threan some new snow clothes. :D

id expect him to be able to identify fire or fox smell... Then agin he might not have encountered a fox in a long time.
